Wait until you listen to the mindless banter of teenage girls. Its like redneck valley girls with Southern accents on speeed. Tomorrow night is the birthday sleepover in a tent in the backyard. At midnight the raccoons and opossums will scare the girls and that horrid high frequency sound of their screams will pierce the night. This will be after many hours of tribal fertility music and gyrations designed to spread their scent all over the swamps and marshes. Good God, I must have been bad in the last life to face this alone. I invited the leggy younger widow from next door to come over and drink beer with me. Thank God she agreed. Our minds need numbing. She raises teens by herself, too and has done a fine job.
