You sure would have had plenty of material to shoot! Many spots reminded me of some of the winter scenes in Dr. Zhivago, especially down by my pond. I scared off about 100 geese and dozens of ducks when I started making my way through some of the downed trees and branches! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Really pretty though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

What kind of geese and ducks frequent your pond?

Canadian geese and a variety of ducks. They, like the deer, enjoy my pond area because not much bothers them and it's pretty serene. I love it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I luv geese, I seen some giant flying formations in southern Ill, thousands and thousands!

They are quite tasty when slow cooked in gravy too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

maybe I've just never had good cooked geese but I wasn't impressed duck...
