I'm having a thought... just as I urged a few of us to try to argue "the other side" in a thread earlier in the week, isn't it possible that we dogs 'deserve' this a little bit for how the DFLE went down? We begged for months, but left them in the shop for days? Perhaps the point is that we didn't blow-out a blade we cared a lot about. The hogs will 'demonstrate' that they can blow-out a blade they don't really care about. Is our bark is worse than our bite?

i did a bit more thinking... i think we save our bark and our bite for dough, not for show.

Speed - the fact that it was so long in the making is surely in part why the DFLE stuck around so long - although I was pretty surprised to see it in the store for three days.

That 6 month drought really had an effect on the Yard, I think.

long day. up at 5 for a 7am flight. worked all day and had an 8pm return flight. got home a bit ago. weekend sounds like just what i need!

I spent the day writing. I finished up the part on exposure. Now I'm working on the part on filters, which should be pretty quick and easy. Then I have to write about flash, which i'm not looking forward to.

By the way, this hog won't be getting one of these nameless serrated recurved knives.

any big plans for your break, dice? i'm assuming unwinding with family is top of list?
