My M2k had a small burr on the tip... Microscopic practically. I was able to chip it off with my thumbnail after much work. If you look hard, though, you can see where the tip isn't quite perfect. Gotta look very hard though!

by the way i put the fbm le in my cart. i think i'll sell the dfle, i didn't even really want one, but was worried i'd regret it later.
