But yeah, the argument of being able to snag them at almost any store does bolster the argument for AA battery powered items

I bought a nice supply for that amount. I hope they can still be had for that when I run out in 3-4 years!

cr123 are brighter, store longer but if couldn't get more, once there gone, their gone. alkies would be around for awhile and with my rechargables, once we get solar charging we'll have batts for a really long time!
