i won a copper cadet on ebay!!! i never bid on anything on ebay before but i saw that this guy was selling an 'autumn orange' cadet when it was really copper! lucky no one else noticed.

i bid on it when i found it and forgot all about the auction. turns out that bid held up for three days and i won. $23 shipped, less than my newer cadets. woulda paid double that. i literally set my limit at $46.

I have been watching lots of Roman stuff recently because there was a great show about how Carthage with Hannibal defeated Rome in a textbook perfect battle and still lost the war. The Carthaginian's just did not understand the Romans.
