I had the interview for the teaching position at the same prison my wife works at. Apparently having experience teaching in a psychiatric hospital, running a program for troubled youth, having experience teaching a variety of subjects, and a degree in Special Education got me behind bars so to speak.
Of course my competition was a pakistanni immigrant with 3 Ph'D's in Nuclear physics. I thought for sure he would have gotten it. And a girl with a degree in art appreciation and 6 years of retail experience at Bananna Republic. It was tough but I prevailed.
I've got a week left in my current position. Then I get two weeks off before it's off to the big house.
So Dan you've got to get me the bowie. Imagine months of frustration being taken out on the bowie over a period of two weeks. It'll be the ultimate test of resolve.
