Have you been on any photo trips lately? Yes, Kirk. I just returned from Florida a couple weeks ago. Did you see any of the pics? Would you like me to post some? I'll be heading to Nevada this weekend, for photographing the Spring bloom in the Mojave desert.

Is he the one that used some kind of special kite? Yes. He invented kite aerial photography, using a series of kites to lift a gigantic, 360 degree panoramic large format camera of his own design, to photograph the wreckage of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake.
