i had to study so i got to the gym late and the guys i normally lift with were finishing up. the fitness genius we all follow spotted me for my last bench press set before he left, 225. that's a lot for me and he tortured me with it. the whole gym was staring as i screamed, wheezed, and cried while he pulled my last rep out over at least 20 seconds. my eyes were locked shut and i was cramping up in my legs. people wanted to help me.
"i will hold it here forever until you get it up." that's what he said. he meant it.

i had really crashed into a wall last year 30 to 35 and just couldn't seem to get by it. Was actually very frustrating.

i've made good gains since i started with him months ago. broke a few plateaus and i wish i had started with him sooner.
if he had told me to do one more, i'd have done it.
i'm also christening him into knife collecting. he's the proud new owner of an oht and zdp189 endura. also has the sharpest meadowlark on earth, if i may be so arrogant.
