I have no willpower and I suck. ![[Linked Image from barkriverknives.com]](http://barkriverknives.com/albums/album282/Clax_Blk_Can_Red_Liner_S.jpg) ![[Linked Image from barkriverknives.com]](http://barkriverknives.com/albums/album282/Clax_Blk_Can_R_L_S_Top.jpg) is that symmetrically ground/sharpened on both edges? gonna use it? It really is a sweet blade. If I had one double-edged, I'd want a slicing edge and a chopping edge.

I want one. Just because of the massive fuller and awesome leather sheath.

ohhh. yeah.
it seemed like a weird shape for a chopper to me. so that was actually THE LAST thing I thought it would be. but I guess with all that weight....

I think I've decided the simple wraps like Pitman's mutt are the most comfortable

for penetration on soft tissue you want the smallest cross-section and most acute angles possible, like an SR-71

A sr-71 shaped fighter would be sweet
If you had enough force behind the clax you would be able to open up a very large wound cavity, but you are right penitration is very low with that disign.

thats what I thought... but actually the knife mike described didn't sound like a slim knife really. idk thouigh, I guess I didn't fully understand his explanation to start with. I thought you owuld want a thick edge so that when you hit bone and stuff the edge doesn't roll... or something stupid like that. thanks for the info darkaether.

Nice blade Ted,
There has been some serious suckage embracing this week for many of us, so don't feel bad. We all weaken at times. If it makes you feel better, I weakened 23 times this week alone! AND two or three of those weak times saved YOU cuz I know you would have bought em if I had not! I have your back man!
