I can't be that hard.
It's not hard at all. I think that for those of you who are having trouble grabbing objects with your feet, it is probably just that you haven't ever bothered to develop the coordination. (Perhaps it is also the case that, if you wear shoes all the time, the muscles in your toes may have atrophied.)
You could probably manipulate objects with your feet beautifully, if you make a small effort. Sort of like learning to ride a bike.
This reminds me of the time, years ago, when my ex came home from her Yoga class, and excitedly told me that she learned how to spread all her toes apart. I was surprised that she hadn't already been able to do that. I asked, "You mean like this?"
