we need the thicker stuff for cooking, doesn't make your food (rice) mushy. all you do is add molasses (how much, I'll find out). We can't find it here in stores (black soy sauce) and the chinese food here sucks! so I'm making it. we made sweet n sour chicken last week, came out great.

I never heard of MSG making people sleepy, I've heard of people having bad reactions to it (allergies). MSG has gotten a bad name, hard to find now, even online, they found out it was bug problems causing all the problems, not MSG. salt ain't gonna cut it for me (in chinese), so I need to use that.
