In case anybody was wondering I have to answer 2 of the 3 questions. I already answered 3 others from another set.

1. What is the connection between culture and environmental degradation in developing and
underdeveloped countries? What kinds of cultural shifts would be necessary to resolve these
problems? Are these cultural shifts even possible? Why or why not? What are the connections
between the social problems (in the social environment) and the physical environment; how do
these connections affect the way we would approach solving environmental problems in the
developing world?
2. What are the most salient changes in human culture and society caused by globalization? How
has this changed the human social environment? For humans as a species, how have these changes
affected the relationship to our physical environment and ecology? How do local cultures, human
cognition, and distant global cultures interact with the physical environment now, as compared to
the past? How the changes caused by globalization might give humans a new view of their
environments and might also provide us with new means to solve environmental problems.
3. Explain the intellectual process of identifying and fixing global environmental problems today.
How should people know what environmental problems are of concern and which ones aren’t?
How should people from across the globe structure their interactions so as to avoid or solve
environmental problems? How can people of disparate cultures formulate common goals and enact
global solutions?
