Ever since I heard about the notion of a "neck knife", my impression was that this was somehthing you would wear on a cord outside your clothing. The thing you reach for reflexily to handle stupid little cutting chores. So it has to be small and light, and ideally it can't look too threatening when in its sheath for social acceptance. Most of the blades marketed as neck knives out there now are basically skeletonized or lightened belt knives and look more like holdout weapons than light tools. Nothing wrong with that, to those who own them, that's just my observation. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
So I've been playing with this notion.
