I decided to sit this one out, and save my money for the next two dog bowls. Besides, I've already got an MPLE for me and my nephew each, any extras would be nice, but unlikely, what with money being tight right now.

Sure, that's young I suppose, but he's proven himself time and again to be responsible enough to be trusted. Plus, he lives in the outskirts of New Brunswick, sheople don't fret and fear monger in that laid back semi-farm country like they do in big cities like Toronto or New York. They expect a boy of 9 or older to have a folder or some such for when he's playing in the back forty of the property. He'll just have a quality knife that he'll treasure forever, instead of some cheap dime store SAK knockoff folder, know what I mean?
