I've read some of your posts about the blades you've "played with" MRPink, and that Bann does some nice work too!

greens, I've handled the DFCG, DFLE, and Ban's convexed DMCG. The reason I want the DFCG, is because Ban said it's a better platform if I plan to fully convex it because it has more meat in the middle (gives it that convex shape), where as the LE is already a full flat and only the edge (or more steel must be shaved off) will convex. WD, seriously? You're dantor??

omg greens, you didn't get the SS4 from the store here! that's my favorite one of all. Jeeps found a guy that was selling a couple for like 10 bucks over store cost and I snatched one up! I'm surprise bro

I'll be keeping my eye out for a yard guard if I can find a used one cheap. Many people seem to hate recurves, but it doesn't seem so bad to me. Maybe it's harder to sharpen, but it has more cutting surface area for the same length knife, guess I really don't know until I use one.

Then yes, you deffinately need regular Dog Father. I dig convex blades.

Yeah, a fully convexed knife is fattest near the middle, not the spine like a full flat, i.e. DFLE

I don't plan to convex it right away, a huge mod like that would surely void the warranty, or at least I think it would.
WD, that's true, or I could keep the hook and the yard hook would be my go to bottle opener, one mean bottle opener.

I've handled the SS4 and thought it was too light. I had the oppurtunity to buy that or the DMCG, and picked up the DMCG because the price was better. If I had the oppurtunity to pick up the SS4 at near store cost, I'd pick it up.
WD, are you really Dantor?
