Hi guys, what's up today?

I decided to build myself a small dedicated workbench just for the belt grinder and bench grinder today and see how inexpensively I could do it. Since I have spent a small fortune on guns and knives over the last couple of weeks I gotta save somewhere...LOL. Anyway, I almost have my "on the cheap" workbench together for a grand total of $23. It is 34" tall by 49" wide and 27" deep. Built it out of four 2x4s and a 27"x49" piece of 3/4" counter top that I got from a builder's wholesale shop we have here locally. They buy left over pieces of new and scrap lumber from large construction projects and then resale it at a discount.

While I have without a doubt reassured myself that my carpentry skills absolutely suck, I do have a very useable workbench for $23.

If any of you have one of these building material resale places in your town, they are a great place to buy stuff that most people do not know about.

No, I just make sheaths for my knives that don't come with them. They aren't as pretty as what Jeff or Dwayne make, but they are rugged and serviceable. It helps me save money for MORE knives!!!

I hear yu tom. my knives ride in some cheap sheaths from other knives to save money. I am sure yours are nicer than mine. I have two sheaths from professionals but I still need to get one from jeff.

I DO enjoy making my own sheaths, and it keeps me out of trouble! When I was at the Blade Atlanta show I went to the tables where the guy was selling cheap knives and I bought a couple just for their sheaths, so I could carry my Sarsquatch and later my Busse custom bowie. I eventually bought a couple of sheaths from Dwayne (Armorall Leather) which he had extras, so that I had better quality sheaths for my top-quality blades. He and Jeff both do excellent work!

i may be. considering working out, since i skipped today, or going to sleep. it really is a tough decision.

leg extensions, curls, and squats. possibly lunges and stiff dead lifts. eh, no lunges.

I really enjoyed leg work outs. I had to give up weightlifting.

If you do it, I hope you enjoy.
