Read: http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/global_gasprices/In fact just cruise around on CNN's site, or plug "gas prices around the world" into Google. Despite the sticker shock at the pump, we still have very cheap gas. Though it seems heartless, rising gas prices encourage us to take the energy-efficiency measures that we should have been using for decades. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Yep....come to the U.K. and you would think your gas prices were totally acceptable....some motoring programme worked out hi-jacking a petrol tanker would net the hi-jackers more than most armoured security van deliveries....at our prices a tanker full holds about £50,000 at pump prices....then the tanker drivers went on strike for more "danger" money....no wonder some people make their own diesel from used cooking oil....what a country!
