SB, I think you're right, but I hope not. However, I predict that the Dems will own both the House and Senate, as well as the Presidency by the end of today. For Republicans, this election is far less about McCain than a referendum on the Bush administration. I sure wish that Colin Powell had been the Republican candidate -- I'd have someone I could be proud to vote for, not just hopes that I can identify which is actually the lesser of two evils.

I like Fred Thompson well enough as an actor, but the campaign ads and election reporting made it sound like he hadn't accomplished much as a Senator, and he has some baggage as a lobbyist, particularly with regard to deregulating S&Ls.

Whatever else one might say about Barack Obama, he is an outstanding public speaker. His speech format and cadence were a blatant copy of MLK, but it was delivered VERY effectively and the message was of unity. I'd call it one of the best political speeches I've ever heard. We'll see if he can deliver.

Becker/Ka-bar finally released the standard necker! I've been wanting one and the $36 price tag means I'll snag one for sure.

I remember strongly considering the Camillus BK11, but I read reviews that that the handle's wire breaker made it uncomfortable, so I passed.

I thought that was all in the butt of the knife and shouldn't touch your hands at all.
I like neckers and at $36 with a good kydex sheath, I'll give it a shot.

That looks to be the case, but I don't care for how skeleton handles fit my hand anyway, so any complaints were enough to put me off.
