I've heard talk of people ordering custom Busse knives. The quoted price I've heard is $100/inch (I don't know if that's blade or overall). At that price, it probably doesn't happen very often.

Yup, not as much as I use to though, but still when the weather is warmer. I also have a Serpa OWB. I'm looking into a DeSantis holster now. Yeah, in the winter I still use the Serpa under my jacket.

That's a lot of money for a knife that won't have any better warranty than an SR101 RMD. However, that's what dreams are about, and if that's THE knife for you, then you may want to contact them.

Ganza customs are far less than the $100/inch figure, but then they're calling the shots and usually just tweaking a standard blade. Skunk has a custom shop ASH-1 in the Company Store for $397.00 (it started closer to $500 as I recall, but there's not much love out there for serrated recurves).
