Wow...no income tax??? AND good ranges!!! Sounds like heaven!

there are a few states with no income tax, but they have higher sales tax. I was born in knoxville and I really like the eastern part of TN. I've never been to the western part, but I won't go to memphis for sure.

I call them to ask about the shipping cost they said it will show after you place your order. So you are basically at their mercy as far as shipping cost. I was told "around 12 dollars" for those 2 bars of 01 tool steel...

My shipping costs from McMaster were as follows:
Shipment 1: $10.50 for 2 pieces of 3/16" x 2.5" x 18"
and
Shipment 2: $11.50 for 1 piece of above steel, 2 sanding belts, 2 boxes of screws, 1 piece of 12" x 12" micarta, 3 whole house filters

So, it appears, the more you order, the better the shipping per item looks

... I sometimes get items next day or 2-day from them since I live only about three hours from ATL.

The McMaster link seems to be set up using an HTML format rather than using UBB markup. For me, it goes to http://www.scrapyardknives.com/ubbthreads/www.mcmaster.com, which returns the "Website down for maintenance..." message.

so some guns i've never seen before (out of the loop since college) are catching my eye. GSG? a .22lr mp5. i think that's a great idea.

bushmaster used to have this bullpup, m17 if i recall, and i was quite upset when they discontinued it.

finally, comfort. unless it costs $2k. the m17 was relatively cheap and used your standard ar15 mag. still, there are these cool little 22's.

The Bushmaster looks similar to our SA80....they are compact....but the triggers are always very complicated on Bull Pup Designs...the sear engagement has to travel a long way from the trigger to the bolt at the butt...as a result they often have terrible trigger pulls...but you do at least get a long barrel for their compact size....the best I have used is the Steyr-Aug for accuracy and trigger quality...but very expensive.
