Yeah ole' ordawg1 has been hanging out here with the common folk and holding out on us. Come to find out that not only was he neighbors with the one and only Colonel Rex Applegate, they were also friends and hung out together. If that isn't good enough for you, Mr.ordawg1 also has a couple of nice Applegate blades that the man himself gave him as well as some autographed books.

For those of you not familiar with the good Colonel click here Rex Applegate . He was quite the guy.

Applegate is the man behind the famous Applegate/Fairbairn Fighting knife as well as others.

To be honest I miss the mad dash to the do bowl.
I remember when I scored my DFCG which was the second run which was military over run, they lasted about 30 seconds.

To be honest with you- I really liked Rex and didn't have a clue what the knives were . (lol) They have been sitting in the vault for yaers. Now-I have taken an interest in knives and almost blew these off until Jeff and Tolly let me know.
