I could not live without my fried Catfish & Crappie. Fish frys are like religious events around here. Everybody gets together, fry up a bunch of Catfish, Crappie, hushpuppies, french fries and sweet corn fritters. Make up a bunch of fresh Cole Slaw, cut up some fresh Lemons and 1015 onions, then the ladies bake apple and peach cobblers in cast iron dutch ovens while the kiddos take turns tunring the crank to make homemade icecream.
