I've been doing some side jobs and might be able to finagle my way into a 44 mag Redhawk in trade, not near as cool as a 50 DEagle. But I'm on a very limited budget .

I've always wanted handguns, and I'm finally 21, so I can get em'.

I figure what the hell, they aren't getting any cheaper, or easier to get. I just dropped 46 bucks on 20 .50AE rounds at Cabela's; bleh

They were the only place in 50 miles with them. I am going to be learning the art of re-loading really quick I have a feeling.

Enjoy every sandwich.

500 S&W in a semi-auto, you would have to have some majorly long fingers! It would be like holding a 2x6 .

Lol, true. Didn't think of the logical side of things.

46 bucks for 20 rounds... ive been looking for a reason to say KRYKIE! think that fits.

i'm hating to spend 40 for 50 rounds. and reloading is definitely looking like a good way to pass the time if there's plans to hit the range on a regular.

They only had Speer Gold Dot, and I guess it's pricey. I just got it cause they were the only rounds I could find. I am going to order some from magnum research directly for like 33 bucks.

Hey P-Easy, one of my favorite factory .50AE loads is on sale for a great price at Able's right now for $25.10. Even after you added $8 for shipping it's still an excellent price no matter how many boxes you ordered. What makes this a REALLY good deal is that it is for Hornady's excellent 300gr XTP offering. Also, since you will definitely want to get into reloading down the road, Hornady brass is some of the best out there especially in .50AE. Here's the listing Hornady 300gr XTP $25.10 .

If you need some help getting into a reloading setup or some good information, feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll try to help you out. There are a lot of ways you can go, but you don't have to break the bank right out of the gate. In fact, you can get all set up to start reloading with a good single stage press for a lot less than you probably think. You don't have to have the latest greatest multi-stage Dillon in order to "roll your own".
