M22 the Vaqueros have lighter frames and can't handle hot loads like the Blackhawks.

The "old model" Vaqueros had heavier frames than the current production too I might add.
Blackhawks have adj sights too.

Just rolled over wrong and the ol ribs let me know it LOL==well I can't sneeze or laugh worth a [censored] right now.
HD that is an impressive collection of steel. I love the Dough Boy helmet too.
I hope everyone rides the storms out ok. I kinda wish it was storming here so I could go back to sleep--nothing like hearing the rain and thunder but alas none here.

I like the Alaskan a lot, but I can't help but wonder if some of the powder is wasted due to the short barrel length.

You are going to waste some power with the short barrel but Ruger's can take really hot +P+ loads. Its a trade off for ease of carry I guess.
