Sounds reasonable. The blade was covered/obscured in that area.

Here's my cooking companion, the keg grill. Made of a genuine keg: <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

well it'll be warm soon so it was time to stop putting off the work i had to do. fix the oil leak, replace the front brake lever, and the rear turn signal.
rear turn signal i ordered, supposedly a direct replacement, isn't threaded.
you may remember the allen key incident, when it snapped and plugged the bolt holding the rocker box cover down. well, that thing won't give in.
haven't bothered to touch the front brake lever because i don't have the pliers for c clips.
when something's wrong with your motorcycle, it can really make you miserable.

I hate it when direct replacement parts turn out that way. At least you can still ride it, right?

well it's still apart in my garage, so no. takes a lot to get that signal off. remove the seat, sissy bar, shock, and the bolts holding the fender on that side.
must say the bike looks pretty sharp all stripped down. think i may leave the sissy bar and bags off and find myself a low profile solo seat.

Never having owned one, I can't offer any good advice, but I prefer the looks of a minimalist bike, one less chrome and such.

a can of flat black krylon would turn my bike into this. same wheels, engine, tank, fenders...just a different seat and mine has a tachometer.
