I was just thinking about getting a Honda rockus for the summer. Since here in CT you don't need to report it to the DMV with a scooter. You basically just buy it and drive it. No reg. no insurance needed.

This is my rifle, and that is my SHTF Busse knife.

My friend got a Rukus. His son recently wrecked it. I think he was able to get it fixed. It runs really quietly. I think it will only go about 35 mph. I spent the afternoon at the range. I needed to test out my .380 Bersa Thunder Plus. It is flawless now with all types of ammo. 15 rd magazine. I also did some practice with the Kimber 45 and the Bulldog 44. Man, the Kimber is sweet. It was too windy to check the zero on my .223. My neighbor went with me to practice with his 38 spl. He is an educa-TOR, so he is off on Easter break. It was good to get out. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/range002.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/range001.jpg)
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Nice .45 Vic...what does it like best? 230g FMJ's? It feeds those best, but I hit a little low with those. Not a huge problem with a 45. If I aim center of mass, it will strike the target within the 9 ring at 25 yrds.

Evening, men. Nice .45, Vic.
I need to get out and shoot my .45 more. Right now, it's a dust magnet.

The little Bersa .380 rocked on today. It is really accurate for a pocket pistol, but would not feed HP reliably so I had my gunsmith smooth out the feed ramp a bit. When all you have is a .380, you need lots of HPs flying out the barrell!

IIRC the .380 is slightly less powerful than the 9mm. ...Or maybe I'm thinking of the .32 ACP (waayy less powerful).
My grandfather swore by his Lorcin .380. I never found out what happened to that gun. It was a sweet shooter.

The .380 or 9 mm Kurtz is a little less powerful than a 38 spl, with a lighter bullet. Those and the 32 auto were popular calibers for police in Europe for years, but most Americans consider those calibers marginal for self-defense.

Thanks.
I've got an old Colt .32 ACP, but I've never shot it. The rounds are tiny. The .25 ACP was even tinier.

My grandpa carried one of those 32s. They were also made in .380. Yours is about a hundred years old if it looks like this: ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/300px-Colt_Model_1908_Pocket_Hamerl.jpg)

Yep. It was carried a lot by my grandfather while working the railroad many years ago. It currently has a broken mainspring. I haven't found a gunsmith to fix it yet.

Those Colt 32s were very popular for carry in the teens, 20s and 30s.
