okay, replaced the broken brake lever. finally, something fixed easy. unfortunately, the clutch lever is givin me trouble and i'm too sore to fight with it so for now i have one bright chrome lever and one matte lever.
also drilled out the fixture from the old turn signal to mount it in the new housing. see if that brightens things back up.
somehow, new issues have popped up. it won't start, think the battery died last night. also not rolling easily in gear or changing gears, so the clutch will need an adjustment. i didn't try changing the lever till after i noticed the rolling problem, so that wasn't it.

9,000 post!!! at 10k i'd definitely blow up something myself...
man, i've been on this one other forum since 2000 and have maybe 2000 posts. the yard's forum is by far the best i've ever come across. the other ones are recording gear forums which is my main thing. those posts are more about the technical than social for me.
