Imagine, how much you want for that G-19?

I dunno, I've been looking at them on gunbroker to guage what its worth. I think I have 5 magazines for it too. I also took the stock connector out and put the 3.5 pound connector in.

hell, here is what I think on a 9mm 1911

9mm 1911 is a pleasure to shoot but you have cut your magazine load by half for a single-stack pistol. I know S&W is coming out with a 9mm in a 1911 this year, so that might warrent a look.

They already have come out with that 9mm. They want 1600 for it too.

definitely worthy of the angry smiley. those bearings can wreck your day.

Yeah, really a minor issue to replace them though. I have all the gear. Challenge is all about location. The mail order spot is down south so I'll have to get them to mail them out tomorrow and hope they make good time. I need the trailer in 2 weeks to pick up the new toys.

The Big Dog himself in the Death Chat!

Impressive!

Not too worried about doing the work on them, pretty basic and nothing at all compared to doing the ones on the Pathfinder last year.

CO, my mechanic told me to use marine bearing grease. That might be a good idea? He actually modded his truck hubs so he could pump grease in the front with and overflow out the back.

He speaks wisely. I use an aluminum complex grease for the trailer bearings. You want to avoid the lithium grease as the lithium is water soluble and will eventually wash away and break down leading to bad stuff. I've seen the mods to put zerks on the hubs. Neat idea, however for some applications I prefer to be able to tear things down to do the inspection. Wouldn't have caught this problem otherwise. This was a used trailer that I just picked up for a great deal which explains the problems unfortunately. The good news, is that given the price I paid for it, even if I have to replace the axle, hubs and wheels I will still come out ahead!
