i guess he has a smart phone since there probably aren't too many wireless access points at his girlfriend's salon.

i wouldn't mind a G1.

Thanks for the advice Klink, but I can handle the cold weather. I love the change of seasons, and the change of pace they bring. Plus there is something so intriguing about the challenge of backpacking in the winter. Although I have never lived there, so I cannot say I've experienced the winters out there. I am just so much calmer in nature than I am around masses of people. Lived on the West side of Chicago, and saw some harsh stuff from humanity.

Personally, I'd rather look down a blizzard and animals than stare into the barrel of a gun held by a fella who is jittery from God knows what drugs.

Never the less, I appreciate the advice, and will look to spend at least a month or two straight during the middle of the winter at the potential location if my wife agrees to move.

rutmi01 - It's a good idea to check out an area when the seasons are at their worst as well as their best. Montana and Wyoming both can have very rough winters. I once read in a Countryside & Small Stock Journal where a couple of Wyoming residents warned possible newcomers about the constantly blowing winds and the winter encountered in their state. A LOT of places are nice to visit on short trips or vacations, but living there year-round may be another matter.

Evening, men!

I just got in from replacing a brake disc and pads on my truck. I don't drive it much at all anymore (gas mileage stinks) and one of the calipers stuck and wore the pad down very quickly on the rear. I've got the parts to replace the rest, but I'll worry about that tomorrow. At least I have 4 good brakes, now.

You probably saved enough money to buy a S5 by doing the job yourself. Plus you're a lot safer now!

Ya brakes are one of those repairs I can take a bit more than electronics burning out. BTW, you have some nice looking hatchets you make snotpig. They look really nice.

I need to run that by the missus, PK. That sounds like a good plan.

Think of the thrill of being able to stop when you want to...thats livin

Seriously, way back in college I needed brakes and did not have much money so I did it myself, a loaded gun would have been simpiler and less costly.

When I did get them fixed, I could not get over how great it was to be able to stop when I wanted to...its the small things in life

Dan
