Thrust magazine is a knife mag and website put out by a guy named Noah who really knows his stuff in regards to martial arts and knife fighting. There is even an article on the site by James Keating.
I can't wait to see the gift. If I could have anything that is common in the US but not available in canada it would be a concealed carry permit. Believe it or not the CCW permits are not as common as you think. Yes, their much easier to obtain than in Canada. However, it's really a small percentage of the population that actually goes out and get theirs.

Next time I renew I'm gonna get the $150 lifetime one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I don't think even cops or RCMP's can get a CCW in canada. It seems like most of my US friends have them but since I know most of them through the knife hobby that is not exactly an average group of americans.

It's still every 5 years renewal here in Florida. However, I can get cans, and a full auto if I so desire. However, i really have no desire for either so it's a moot point I guess.

Even if I did not want one it would be nice to have the option. I was checking a guy on totse's 22ruger with a suppresor built into a spare barrel and even a fitted carry case and thought it would be a perfect vermin blaster. I just love neat toys but mostly I am old school and prefer bolt action rifles anyway.

Cans would be fun. However, I really cannot justify the need for one other than want. And since it'll end up costing me the equivalent of a new gun or two that makes it even harder.
