We got our dogs shaved for summer - and Jordan (now 3) thinks that they are different dogs! "Where are Mikey and Lucy?" he asks. We can't quite explain to him that those are the same dogs, only with short hair. Its pretty funny... how old is he? i do remember something in developmental psych about perception of change not showing up until a certain age. 4-6 or something. could be way off.

Another great case... Guy questioned about incest w/ kids - polygraphed after being awake more than 30 hours - fails, then confesses to the whole thing. Thrown out because the guy's sleep deprivation made his statement "involuntary."
Our state courts are F'ed! We let more baby rapers and drug smugglers go free than any other state in the country, i'm sure of it...

I wish! You'd think that Montana would be a fairly conservative state - I mean, the people are. The courts are NOT, though. I'm reading here that cops are not allowed to use polygraph results during interrogation to gain a confession... Madness, huh? I've been part time LEO for 7 years and didn't even realize that.

i don't see why they couldn't test him after a nap, though. the courts should have had the test repeated. frankly, everyone screwed up in that case.
