Since I always check, I lifted out the liner in case someone had stashed something underneath to hide it. And I found something. I $h!t you not...a folded $50 bill!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> That's half a S5 right there! HA! Someone must have forgotten about it. It was an older style, with a date of 1985 on it.

Ya know, that's not my only cash find there either. Once I was looking at a pair of jeans, and I stuck my hand in the pocket to see how deep it was to see if it would hold my gun. I felt some crinkly paper, and pulled out a $20!

And another time I found a belt marked $1, but it had one of those belt buckles with a dollar coin in it. I refer to it as the belt that bought itself. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Sooooo, that's a total of $71 CASH I've found in thrift stores. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I also check the old books for stashed cash, and the belts for money belts, why, I even keep a lookout for penny loafers. Never know if you might find an old wheatie penny or Indian head. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> See, it PAYS to be thrifty... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Sorry about your fish. When I was a kid, I had a large pet Goldfish I bought at Woolworth's (THAT tells you it was a while ago) that lived for 7 years until he died. I named him Goliath since he was so big. I found him sucked up against the intake for the aquarium filter. I buried him in the yard.
