My 3 year old hangs out with me and plays the harmonica while I'm jamming the blues! He doesn't know what he's doing, but he has a good time! The Gothic Explorer would be cool. I have an Epi goth Studio - it is a fun guitar. You're talking about the Gibson "Gothic" series Explorer?
I'm still lost. Epi Special II... 1 set of knobs, bolt neck, slab body... what else is usually different? OH!!!!
INLAYS. I noticed them too, but it didn't connect.
