The guy who taught me how to shoot was a big ruger fan.
he had a Blackhawk and a redhawk.
I think I shot them both.
He convinced me my first pistol should be
a Security Six 357 shot 38 specials or something like that.
was a good gun.stainless...

I remember him showing me the part of the gun above the cylinder,
how thick it was compared to other guns...
Said when he reloads his own shells ,that he could
go with a stronger charge or something without the gun breaking.

I was never keen on kydex,but for a user coated blade,
seems ideal.
