For someone who worked audio tech for five years, and ran sound boards for bands like the Violent Femmes, Third Eye Blind, The Roots, The Wallflowers, Rusted Root, etc etc etc....
You would think I would know more about guitars.

yes, very cool... do you remember the voodoo series that gibson came out with a few years ago? those were killer! i thought that fifth fret inlay killed the whole guitar.
