Dan and Patti,
Isn't nice to have a extended family like yours? The sincere outpouring of love, well wishes and most of all prayers for your child in her time of need is what I would call love. The way all of us strangers to you responded with our most heart felt prayers is a blessing to large to count. I am blessed to own one of your knives and soon the #1788 Dog Father will arrive too and it will always have a special place in my family's heart. We have prayed every night at dinner for your child, and now we will give thanks for prayers answered.
This blade will always link us die hard Scrappers to your family through this crisis.I am proud to know you all through your business. You are wonderful people who have done so much to change the blade industry. When all around you other blade manufactures beat customers up for higher profits, you lower the benchmark and allow even the most meager income blade lover to own a masterpiece like the Dog Father.
What you have done through your efforts is create a very tight knit family who genuinely care about you and yours. It will always be there to buy your products and support you all in every endeavor you share with us.
God bless you all. And especially your recovering daughter. Please let her know that her extended family has been and will continue to hold her well being in our hearts. That is because of what wonderful parents you are!
We love you.

Peace.

My little sister was born with a tummor, and it was Children Hospital that took care of her to a full recovery, it is just a wonderful place there.
God Speed.

This is good news and I hope that Theresa keeps improving. That must have been very scary as diabetes is nothing to mess around with. My prayers will continue for your daughters full recovery.

Glad to hear that all is well. No rush on the orders - get settled in first!

I appreciate the thought and concern, its what makes this a great place to be.

With that said, its important to me that the Yard have their Dog Fathers, there is chopping to be done and photos to be taken.

Juvenile onset diabetes is serious stuff.

Make sure she follows a strict diet and blood sugar testing routine.

Good habits now will help her avoid complications later (like vision loss, insulin resistance, etc.)

Also make sure she is pretty closely supervised untill she becomes very good at regulating her blood sugar. I almost lost my father when he had a low blood sugar. I called him on his cell phone but he was too disoriented to tell me where he was.

I think they make cell phones that can track people. It might be a good thing to have. When my father had his low, 911 couldn't even triangulate his signal.

The cell phone is a great idea, but I am not sure I can handle the cost...she talks like her mother <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the idea
