A friend of mine was telling me about this guy who could/would sell his furniture, the stuff in his house and take off on just his bike. A Harley as a side note. The ability to just pack up and go is liberating. Not having a house/car/whatever payment so you can take off is another blessing in itself.

I've got a few too many toys to just hit the road with a bike(maybe an 18 wheeler). My bike isn't running and most likely will be sold in the next few months anyway so the truck is what I'd hit the road in. This allows me a few more items, not to mention I just love my truck.

i'm completely with you. my only problem would be my guitars and amps. this is a topic deserves its own thread.

Start a thread, tell me where. Put the amps and guitars in a sealed sea container someplace I guess, thats what I was thinking for my must keeps.

then you might as well have a car. i feel like mere saddle bags spoil the bike so a trailer is definitely not happening.
