Pretty long time. Do you have any in-action-pics?
Itīs interesting stuff I did a stone-axe once when I was a kid

Not on hand, but I made some:

Overall the most difficult task was cutting the cotton cord, and I think it was the hardest on the edge too. There was minor but detectable damage to the edge. I believe you simply have to accept that it is inevitable, with any stone cutting tool, that you're dealing with an exceptionally brittle material. Which is why even copper, the earliest tool-metal, would have been an amazing leap forward.

Good luck with the interview tomorrow. Everybody needs a break in the difficult economic times. We will all get through it. Keep your chin up.

Catch you later CR!

As for Mag finding a job, pffft!
The guy is a jack of all trades he can find work anywhere.
I think the bartender gig is him wanting to try the "Cocktail" experience.
What's next, maybe some "Risky Business"?

Snotpig, I'm jealous of your knife making skills.

Would love to be able to do that.

Eh, anybody with patience can do it. Thanks, though.

I could fill a small book with what I've learned over the last two years. (I could fill a library on what I don't know about making knives though )

When I move out of my condo, and get a garage, I'll invest in a sander, or an anvil.

I started with the 1x30 Harbor Freight sander. Not bad for $40, and you can get all kinds of belts for it. Just don't get in a hurry or try to grind something too big.
