That is too cool. Thanks for the link. I ordered one from the SR store and wear it daily. It looks nearly identical. The main difference is that mine has 4 strands holding the buckle, and it also looks like 4 strands down the center of the braclet. Looking at the instructions, this one looks like 2 strands down the center. Very cool though.

Andy that's sweet! I like that bunches but it boils down to that patience issue and the ability to keep focused without getting frustrated.
I'll end up buying one rather than trying to make one. If you make one I'd but it from you! I'm sure you can do it~

I tried making one a long time ago, but couldn’t figure it out. The plans I found weren’t very clear and had poor quality pics. This one looked like much better pics. If I get some spare time I hope to figure it out. I’d have to get the buckles first. I think I remember seeing them at Walmart in the craft section…I’ll have to go look again.
If nothing else it’s a good way to carry some paracord with you in a compact package for emergencies. When I was in college in TX I had a friend (Ret. Air Force) who used to make them, but he made the attachments with loops and buttons/beads instead of buckles.

there's a buckle available that integrates a small signal whistle. someone made one then clipped on a suunto watch band compass. a nice piece of gear.
