Now, who wants to see the MOAB of sword collecting?
(I'm sneaking in some more UK blade control with this one)

Oh, I agree that the knife bans are ridiculous over there - but this is still a case of a computer glitch and a retail drone unwilling to think. That's so common pretty much everywhere on the planet that it's not surprising at all.

I am an ex-retail drone. That's way worse than being an ex-con.
I'm also an ex-postal worker/"letter carrier"
Since then I wisened up and starting buying guns and bows and crossbows and swords and knives...
Anybody seeing a pattern here...
Is this why everyone at work treats me so nice...

People obsessed with tools as weapons don't understand that there are plenty of every day things, including bare hands, that can wipe them out if the wielder is trained and motivated. But, it's easier to target things that they just can't relate to, or make them feel bad. That's how they seem to "think", after all: very primitively, almost like they are driven by an undeveloped child's perceptions.

YUP! right now i am looking at almost 3000 different objects i my home i could severely harm or kill someone with. Lets start with:

- Spoon. It made Rosie Odonell fat. Better ban spoons.
- sports equipment..cricket bat and a baseball bat. i can do MAJOR damage with both.
- glass bottles - impact and cutting weapon!
- cast iron frying pans - impact/bludgeoning weapon
- extension cords - garrotes or whipping weapon
- alchohol - can be doused on someone and lit on fire!
- forks/chopsticks - can be stabbed thru your eye!
- kitchen knives - stabby stabby, slashy slashy, god some of them ARE RAMBO KNIFE SIZED! where is the outcry?
- hammer, the Hecks Angels favorite enforcement tool, can be used to crush fingers, kneecaps, or pulp a human face, skull and brain to mush. Hey let the gubmint take my knives, i have a 40 oz ball peen hammer i love to wield.

etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etce

At work today, my buddy ran us all out of the unit we were renovating. I vote to ban pork & beans as a lunch food.
