50% off is hard to beat! I might have snagged one.

If Vox was feeling generous he'd sell me that SnG right, lol alas he could do way better putting on BF or eBay.

Mcj, I finshed that AB, a lot of flavor. Oddly it reminded me of grapefruit.

My folks left for a day and asked we watch the place. Now, I'm chilling by the pool and enjoying the forum via Blackberry, hard to beat that.
Now, if I can ever just be half the man my Dad is.

Good evening Dogs!
Sprained my wrist today, my typing will be very limited tonight.
Playing football at work in new steel toe boots + rocky, sandy desert = Bad combo.
Life is still good though! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
No, that's not the drugs talking.
Sticking it out like a man! Hurts like hell though.

So I got a letter tonight from a local college, regarding a faculty position I applied for almost six months ago. They finally got around to making a decision, three months after I accepted another position. You gotta love the efficiencies of academic hiring departments....

The encouraged me to apply as a part time lecturer, which is pretty tempting. If I could teach one night a week or something like that, and make some extra cash while getting more teaching experience to pad my C.V., that wouldn't be too bad.

hey guys.
so my friend just got a Ruger sr9 that I recommended he look at.
It fit his price range well, I just hope he looked at some other ones too.
It should suit his needs very well though.

Hey, men!!

Art, take it easy. I hear new steel can heal all wounds. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

MM, sounds like a good gig, if you can swing it.

Ruger makes fine guns. I got my first after I read an NRA dope bag report on the P85 (9mm). They threaded and plugged the barrel and then fired it. Other than ruining the barrel, it only suffered a broken ejector. The rest of the gun was intact and functional. It was the reason I got my P90. That SR9 looks very sweet.

yep.
He should like it just fine.
He already has a Ruger 10/22, a savage bolt action .22 and a single action .45 colt revolver. (Cabela's makes it, I believe)
This 9mm should be a nice addition.

I've got a book of Ruger/NRA reports somewhere around here. If I can find it, I'll scan it and send a copy of the P85 report, if you want it.
