Peter - "I stole something."

Michael - "Yeah, I guess we all did."

Peter - "No, I stole something, a little going away present."

thanks for the pic. looks like you got it paked pretty good. the sitka looks like it sits a little flatter and taller than that. that would be great to keep loaded in the trunk but it looks like it might be fatter than what i want to grab. i think my second pack is between the colossus and the jumbo. it was mention in the jumbo thread that the lid on the jumbo allows you to carry larger items that stick out of the bag. there was also a pick where horn dog crammed some wood in his to tote back. liked the idea of being able to do that.

I'm a big dude, so that may be why the one-shoulder style didn't work for me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

i must disagree. getting in and out of the conventional backpack was so much easier when i was a skinny kid. now that i have some meat on my shoulders, the sling is the only way to go without having to feel a stretch.

Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of $#!% out the window.

Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

Samir: Piece of $#!%.

Good point.

The size of the Colossus is that way full or empty. It's kind of box-shaped.

I'll do a more in depth review of it sometime... I haven't ever found one on the Colossus so I think it would be helpful to a bunch of folks.
