Is photography and getting those balanced-perspective shots something that was always an innate talent within you, or did you have to really work to acquire the talent? I guess what I am asking is, do you think you were blessed with it or did you have to create it within you? IMHO it has to be there to begin with, then you can refine it further. That is not to say decent skills cannot be taught. Photographing well can be taught to anyone.

I think that first photo answers the question. There is some beauty and symmetry that you detected there that a regular person like myself would miss with our undiscerning eyes.

I approach photography as just another form of artistic expression, and – though I only started shooting when I turned 30 – I had a lifetime of drawing, painting, sculpting, etc., to draw upon, and the artistic skills were directly transferable.
