You should have seen me attempting to cut the baseboards, as I finished my old basement. I must have used twice as much material as I should have due to miscuts, and ended up using caulk to hide many flaws and gaps. It ended up looking OK to the unobservant, but I knew how badly I messed things up.

I really enjoyed finishing the basement. It was a fun project, and I learned a lot. At some point, I will use that experience to finish the basement in our current home, too.

Do you use all your swords, Simon, or do you collect them? Other than large-scale chopping and basic home defense, I am not sure that I would have another general purpose.

2 x S5s, 1 x Waki, 2 x Regulator, 1 or 2 x Dogfather (or something in its size), 1 x SOD. Plus sheaths. Plus potentially LE versions of the S5, Regulator, DF and SOD. Yes, I am doomed already, and the first blade has not even arrived. I blame you all for my addiction <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Sorry...to clarify, I mean satin grind on those models that have already had their LE come and go. Plus a challenge coin!
