I was revisiting some of your photos on the outdoor side of the forum, Evo, and some of those pics really had me stunned. Thank you for each of them that you share with us. Agreed. True art. I failed photography. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> Thank you both, very much. Speaking of which, the raging debate continues. I am about to try a new approach to get across what I'm trying to say to them. I might be interested in running it by you all, here, before I post it to the photo pros.

I can smash a coconut with a baseball bat, which is pretty much what the MOAB is. I'll never get those Hogs' obsession with blades that are so thick they are darn near unusable. Other than a thick FFBM or NMFBM, in the future, I am sticking with SYKs, for sure.

Did anyone see the picture of the MOAB being used on a coconut on the Busse board on BF??
Frankly, I wasn't impressed - it smashed the coconut, and didn't really cut it. I can smash a coconut with a baseball bat, which is pretty much what the MOAB is. I'll never get those Hogs' obsession with blades that are so thick they are darn near unusable. Maybe goes back to the old days of clevering your enemies arms from the socket!

C'mon, Recon - let's get you there. How long did it take you to make that knife? Have you worked on the blade very much? It took about 3 hours to make it. The blade isn't very hard as far as knives go. I'd compare it to a Fiskars hatchet edge.
