I do think that there are some with extremely handicapped cognition skills in regard to art. In my opinion, my father is one of them. However, I am convinced that is not the norm, but the exception. I think most people have this within them, if they develop it. Also,I think it would be a poorer choice to assume the worst in terms of their abilities, rather than the best. I don't even think you have to take it to an extreme, Evo. I was just noting that, as with many uniquely gifted people, you might experience frustration no matter the outcome, because the joy might be in the exchange of ideas, and it doesn't sound like there is anyone to challenge you with anything other than protocol. You seem to be stretching things, and the essence can blow people's minds away if they can't see beyond their paradigm. They just might not be equipped for a deep debate. So if they ultimately all agree, all disagree, or nod indifferently, "winning" might not even be your objective.
