Good morning, everyone! Today should be a big day. Yseterday was a bit of a downer, as our mail arrived too early and I missed the delivery of the Chopweiler. I went to the post office, and the truck had not yet returned. I left the signed slip at the post office, so hopefully they will deliver it today (fingers crossed). I am also stopping by Harbor Freight during lunch to see if they were able to restock the belt sander.
I want to spend some time beating up the Chopweiler this evening, if the weather permits a resonsble photo session.

How many swords do you have now, and what type? WAKI. Had to say it! i have held off from ordering any more. the musashi rosewood shirasaya is on my watch list on ebay and the cheness tenchi ko katana is in my browser favorites. might get both, might find somethin else, might get nothing. i did order a new amp today.

The thumb injury was from rock climbing. I usually bang up something in my hands every couple of months, but this one is a fair bit more painful than the usual.

I just picked up my little belt sander. I won't be using it on knives for a while: I want to do some hand sharpening to get a bit of feel for things, first. Really nice price, though, so I had to jump on it. Thanks, again, MM, for the "heads up".

I had the same issue but then thought to myself, "Self, what's the ratio of folder to fixed carry in your life?" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I carry a folder every day so I decided that paying more for quality made sense.
