Ok, I received my DogFather, I have to say this thing is a beast. It is much more forward weighted than the FBM and the FBMLE. It is much thicker than the FBM and it is also a high Sabre grind for more metal so it is up there in heft. It may weigh less, but not by much, but it definitely has a more chopper balance. In fact I would compare it to my Khukuri in forward balance. Should be quite interesting. Fit and finish were perfect. The edge is thin and severely sharp. I like it a lot.
If there is any negative it is the Choil. I wish it was rounded like all the other offerings.
I posted this on Baldeforums as well.

If there is any negative it is the Choil. I wish it was rounded like all the other offerings. You could always round it some with some sandpaper. This would look less noticable on an LE one.

I agree about the Choil. However, this is a chopper, so I doubt that I'll be choking up my grip much to do finer work with it.

Choil Shmoil....this is, without a doubt, one of THE greatest <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> honkin' choppers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> pound-for-pound EVER....and at the price, a "STEAL in STEEL" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />
