Yes! I was on the fence, until 45 seconds ago. Whe I saw they were still in stock, I could not resist.
Guess what my Mom is getting me for Christmas? Yep, a DFLE. She just doesn't know it yet.

I was on the fence and fell off like humpty dumpty with a 50 pound mullet. Congrats.

We all knew you would Ron!

RussMo - way to go on helping to increase our Pack!
Where in Alaska do you live ? We visited there in 1990 - my wife's Uncle lives in Anchorage. We spent a week camping and fishing the Kenai peninsula, and enjoyed the State Fair as well. Great place to visit! Tom

Private Klink-Tom,

Did you pick up a DFLE?

Well, looks like next time you come up, you'll have soom one else to met up with. I live in Anchorage as well, and Ed my friend that just signed up, lives in Eagle River. When you do come up you have to give a yell, and well gone to to HUMPY's for some chow and beer. Shoot, last time I was in Missouri was in 1975. Whiteman AFB, dropping of alert crews for the B-52's, and KC-135 crews. I was a C-130 Loadmaster, before enlisting in the Army. Yea, that's another story,a long time ago.

RussMo - I got 2 DogFather LE's and a kydex sheath!

If I ever get back up there I will definitely look you up! Speaking of Anchorage, I really enjoyed going into the Long's Drug Stores and seeing almost EVERYONE "packing heat". The first time we went into one my wife nudged me and said "Tom, that guy has a gun over there". I laughed and told her that we were just about the only ones NOT carrying a firearm!
We also went up to Eagle River and checked out the Salvation Army thrift store. I scored a NEET brand quiver for my arrows, and a few other little items. We also enjoyed the State Fair in the Mat-Su Valley - the vegetables really DO grow to gigantic proportions due to the long daylight hours! Anyway, I hope to make it up there again eventually. Tom

Sounds like you were in the same places I was in 2003.
